Art Round Town galleries

Art Round Town is an association of nine downtown Portsmouth galleries.  Map of downtown galleries is available.  Art Round Town galleries include:

- Family Tree Fine Art & Furnishings overlooks Portsmouth's historic harbor and features fine art by prominent award winning New England painters and sculptors as well as fine furniture and jewelry created by family members. - The Fran Mallon Art Gallery features the watercolors and oils of Fran Mallon and occasional guest artists. Fran specializes in local scenery and streetscapes. 42 Middle Street, Portsmouth. - Kennedy Studios Gallery and Framing offers the art of design by a formally trained staff of artisans. The gallery houses an exquisite collection of fine art, limited edition prints, and over 3,000 moulding selections to complement art and home. - Nahcotta features rotating exhibitions of contemporary art with an emphasis on painting. Work ranges from representational to abstract by some of the region's finest emerging and mid-career artists. - NJM Gallery features the finest glass art from over 100 United States-based known and emerging artists - vases, paperweights, perfume bottles and more. NJM is located at 8 Bow St. in the heart of the historic district and online at www.njmgallery.com, info@njmgallery.com, 603-433-4120.

- N.W. Barrett Gallery was established in 1985 to show quality handmade crafts. Several hundred artists are represented in various mediums, including fine gems and high karat gold. - Three Graces (formerly Pierce Gallery) is located at 105 Market Street, in historic downtown Portsmouth overlooking the water.  The gallery provides an intimate setting for both traditional and contemporary works of art by

The Coolidge Center for the Arts sponsors five exhibitions of contemporary regional art every summer and ten studio art courses each autumn and winter. Haley Farm Gallery is an art gallery that was established in Jan. 2005 and presents works by local, national and international artists, as well as art gifts from around the world. Tulips opened in 1982 as the first craft gallery in Portsmouth representing local artists and craftspeople. Studio 139 Frame Shop was established in 1979 by Stew Berman who remains current owner and operator. The Voice of Clay is an expressive clay company, committed to encouraging conscious living. The nature and energy of clay have inspired the creation of our pots.
